Agnes G. Condon Smith, 92, of Oxford, IN died at 4:31 A. M. Saturday October 31, 2015 at the Waters of Covington.
She was born September 20, 1923 at Akeley, MN the daughter of William and Sarah (Dickerson) Condon.
Agnes married Louis Carpenter Smith January 29, 1951 and he preceded her in death February 13, 1991.
She grew up in Minnesota, was a homemaker and was of the Lutheran faith. After her marriage she lived in several places while Louis was in the Air Force, 30 years at Las Vegas, NV and Lafayette, IN in recent years, and the last year at The Waters of Covington.
Surviving is a daughter Sandra (Husband - Harold) Tabert of Pine Village, IN, a sister Mary Gray of Alabama, seven grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren. Her parents, six brothers and sisters, a daughter Charlotte Piggott, and a granddaughter Kathleen Tabert Hargest preceded her in death.
No services are planned. Cremation was chosen and burial will be in Danville National Cemetery. Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com.
