Covington Anna Virginia Jennie Arthur, 86 died at 8:05 p. m. Thursday October 13, 2011 at The Waters of Covington. She was born at Marshfield, IN October 11, 1925 the daughter of the late John P. and Vera Beatrice (Stephens) Garrison.
She had been a resident of Covington and Perrysville since 1991 and formerly resided at Astor, FL. She was a homemaker and a member of West Liberty Church of Christ.
Jennie married Wilmer Olsen in 1943 and later married James Arthur. Both are deceased. Surviving is a daughter MarilynKay (William) Clemons of Cloverdale, IN; a brother Warren (LaVon) Garrison of Williamsport; 2 grandsons, Patrick (Marinder) Clemons and William (Amie) Clemons; 6 great grandchildren. A brother and 3 sisters preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p. m. Saturday October 22, 2011 at Shelby Funeral Home with visitation 1 hour before. Private burial of cremains will be in West Lebanon Cemetery. Condolences to the family www.shelbyfuneralhome.com
