Archie C Campbell

Archie C. Campbell, 79, of Veedersburg, IN was born Nov 6, 1943 in Chrisman, IL, and passed away February 8,2023 at Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He married Linda Lyons on Jan 29, 1966 and they raised 6 children together.

Archie was a Korean War veteran and was very proud of his military service.  He volunteered at the War Museum in Veedersburg and loved telling stories about the artifacts in it.

He worked for Culligan Water in Danville for 27 years and finished his work career for the Town of Veedersburg.

Archie is survived by his wife Linda of 57 years, his daughters Pamela, Linda, Angela, Teresa, and son Archie.  He also leaves numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Archie is also survived by his brothers Larry (Debbie) Campbell, Kevin Cotten and sister Ella Gauf.

He was preceded to heaven by his parents Clifford and Eunice Cotten, daughter Nancy, brothers Stephen, Robert and Terry as well as sisters Jeanette and Elaine.

Funeral services 1:00 P. M. EST Saturday February 11, 2023 at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with Tim Lyons officiating.  Burial in Campbell’s Chapel Cemetery with military honors by the Army and Attica American Legion.  Visitation 11:00 A.
