Covington Barbara Jean Stitt, 30 died at 10:39 p. m. Friday June 10, 2011 at her home. She was born April 10, 1981 in Danville the daughter of Jon and Dorene Shatell Morgan.
She graduated from North Vermillion High School and was a life resident of Perrysville and Covington. She attended Sterling Christian Church. Barbara enjoyed her family and scrap booking.
Barbara married Corey R. Stitt September 18, 2010 at Covington and he survives. Also surviving is her mother Dorene (David) Durrant of Perrysville, her father Jon (Lora Kincaid) Morgan of Lebanon, a brother Jacob Morgan of Lebanon, 2 daughters, Arin Nicole Cook and Devyn Shea Cook, a son Peyton Ross Stitt, grandmothers Dorothy Morgan and Della Lorene Shatell, father and mother-in-law Mark and Regina Stitt of Covington. Her grandfathers Gerald Morgan and Robert Shatell preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Tuesday June 14, at 11:00 a. m. at Shelby Funeral Home with Gary Johnson officiating. Burial in Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p. m. Monday. Memorials may be given to a trust for the children at Main Source Bank with envelopes available at Shelby Funeral Home. Send condolences to the family at www.shelbyfuneralhome.com.
