Billy D. Hathaway, 87, of Thorntown, IN died Wednesday May 11, 2016 at Homewood Health Care, Lebanon, IN. He was born October 7, 1928 in Fulton Township, west of Kingman the son of Homer and Ola (Richardson) Hathaway.
He was a resident of Kingman until moving to Thorntown in 1958, where farmed. He was a 1947 graduate of Kingman High School. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses at Lebanon.
Billy married Barbara Leota Carter November 10, 1948 at Cayuga and they enjoyed sixty-three years of marriage before her death September 12, 2012.
Surviving is a daughter Kathy (Walter) Medley of Thorntown; two grandchildren, Brian (Vicki) Medley of Thorntown; Dawn (Dewayne) Rector of Logansport; four great grandchildren, Ciara Medley and Shelby Medley; Devin Rector and Drew Rector. His parents, and three brothers, his twin Bobby, Richard and an infant preceded him in death.
