Billy Ray Williams

Billy Ray Williams, 77, of Covington died at 2:35 P. M. Monday June 20, 2022 at the Waters of Covington.  He was born November 23, 1944 at Danville, IL the son of the late Dorsie Ray and Jessica Belle (Hundley) Williams.

Billy was a graduate OF Danville High School and a member of the Lutheran Church and American Legion.  He served four years in the U S Army.  He was a self-employed HVAC repairman for many years, living in Hutsonville, IL, and recently had lived at Champaign, IL, moving to Covington one year ago.

Billy is survived by two children, Jeffrey Allen (Jami) Williams of Covington, IN, and Michelle Atkinson of Cheyenne, WY.  Also surviving are five grandchildren, Paige Perry, Kaleb Coles, Brennan Coles, Chase (Laura) Mears, and Collin (Skyler) Mears; three great grandchildren, Myah, Lily, and Lucas.
