Charlotte Louise Bodine

Charlotte Louise Bodine, 80, of Covington died Monday June 10, 2019 at home. She was born September 27, 1938 at Cameron, WV the daughter of Glenn and Mona (Ross) McVay.

She grew up in Cameron, WV. graduated from Cameron High School and moved to Covington in 1958. She enjoyed her family and her friends at Benjamin’s.

Charlotte was a member of Pleasant Grove Church and Troy Chapter #145 Order of Eastern Star.

Charlotte married John “Mose” Bodine June 12, 1959 at Covington and they enjoyed fifty-nine years of marriage before his death March 2, 2011.

Surviving is a daughter Diana (Tim) Niccum of Covington and a son Thomas (Susan) Bodine of Kingman, IN; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her parents, a son Steve, two brothers, two sisters, and a great granddaughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A. M. EDT Friday June 14, 2019 at Shelby Funeral Home, 622 Third Street, Covington, IN. Burial will follow in Danville National Cemetery.  Visitation 5:00 to 8:00 P.
