Christine France

Christine France was the daughter of Herbert and Marilee (Massey) Anderson. Her birth took place on January 6, 1952, at their home in rural Veedersburg, Indiana. Christine has two brothers, and one sister: David (Carol) Anderson of Rural Veedersburg, John (Sue Ann) Anderson of Rural Veedersburg, and Kay (Jim) Pairitz of rural Wingate.

Christine was employed at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Kimball Piano & Organs, Covington Community Schools, and Covington Christian School. She was also a member of Scott's Prairie Christian Church, where she has been the pianist for many years.

Christine wished to mention one of her favorite scriptures: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Romans 8:28

On October 4, 1975, Christine married Eldon J, France. Together, they had one son, Eric J. (Amanda) France. Christine also had a step-daughter, Elise Warrick of Tennessee. They have three grandchildren, Emma Jean France, Elliot France, and Tayte Wolfe. Christine's grandchildren were the light of her life. Christine also has many surviving nieces and nephews; she loved each of them dearly.

Please join us in honoring Christine's life at Shelby & Keller Funeral Home in Covington, Indiana, on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Visitation will be 12:00 - 2:00 PM (ET), with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM (ET). Burial at Scotts Prairie Cemetery will follow. Services will be officiated by Pastor Jason Shimke.
