Courtney Faye Tolbert

Courtney Faye Tolbert, 45, of Alamo, Indiana, passed away tragically on July 18, 2026. Courtney was born on June 6, 1981.
She was a beloved mother to her children, Andrew (Kayle) and Ivy Green, and a bonus mom to Issac, Trent, and Gabby Cheesman. Courtney loved being "Gigi" to Landon, Oliver, Mayme, Amiyah, Nash, Carter, Rae'Lynn, and River.
She leaves behind her beloved fiancé, Joshua Cheesman; her parents, Bruce Tolbert (Tami Blankenship) and Christy (Michael) Cruse; her sisters, Christa (John) Doolin, Cara Tolbert, Bryttney Long, and Casey Cruse; her brothers, Joshua Powell, Michael (Dana) Cruse, and Seth Cruse; her grandfather, Ben Tolbert; and her grandmother, June Hopper. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Courtney was a very hard worker. When she wasn't working, she loved swimming with her grandbabies. She was incredibly proud of her garden. She loved playing Monopoly and Bingo, as well as reading and coloring. She was always the life of the party and could make anyone laugh.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Shirley Meeker and Patricia Tolbert; her grandfather, Vernon Hopper; and several aunts and uncles.
Courtney was devoted to her family and friends, and they will truly miss her.
