Deloris Mae Fox, 83, died at 8:20 am at Parkview Nursing Center in Attica, Fountain County, IN.
Deloris was former resident of Covington, IN. She had resided at nursing home since Oct 2001 due to MS. She has had MS since 1965 but always said she was blessed to have MS instead of something much worse.
Deloris Mae Jinkins was born 7 August 1933 at Catlin, Vermilion County, IL the second child of Delbert Jinkins Sr and Jennie Bernice Jones. Deloris married Richard Dale Fox Sr. in Cates Fountain County, IN on 26 Sep 1952. Her husband, Dick passed away 6 Feb 2011.
Deloris worked at Ben Franklin, Sprague Jewelers, and IGA in Covington. She loved her family, genealogy, traveling, painting wet on wet, crocheting, crafts, and writing stories about her animals. She always saw the good in people and enjoying putting a smile on peoples faces with one of her angels, or bookmarks she made.
She was preceded in death by her husband , grandson (Mark Allan Craig), her parents, her brother, (Delbert Jinkins Jr.) Plus all her aunts and uncles on the Jinkins and Jones families.
She is survived by son, Richard “Rick” Fox Jr. of Baggs, WY; Daughter, Dellie Jean Craig and son-in-law Roger Craig, Crawfordsville, IN. One sister, Susie Kycharczyk of NV; sister-in-law, Suzanne Jinkins, Fountain County, IN. 1 granddaughter: Marla, AZ; 4 great grandchildren: Jason Craig, Mariah Hughes, Nicholas Fowler of AZ; and Stephen (Clarrisa) Castrogiovanni in IL. Two great great grandchildren, Zeraea Edge, AZ; Bradley Castrogiovanni, Hawaii; and great great grandson due in May 2017 in IL. She also leaves a lot of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lots of dear friends. Special thanks to all the staff at Parkview Nursing Center/Woodland Manor for all the great years of care for our mother. Also to Quinton (Karen) Tooker for visiting and helping my mom.
