Donald E Vyse

Donald E. Vyse, 82, of Covington, IN died at 8:52 P M. Monday November 6, 2017 at Presence USMC Logan ER.

He was born May 8, 1935 in Covington, IN the son of Darrell and Everel (Clark) Vyse. He married Patricia A. Garrigus June 7, 1957. She is deceased.  He graduated from Covington High School in 1953 and was an Army veteran.

Don was a supervisor with Olin Mathieson and Flexel Corporation for forty-one years. He was a life member of Fountain County Old Guard Post #2395 VFW since 1956.

Survivors include: two daughters, Terri (Selby) Bord of Demotte, IN, Crystal Cooper of Covington, IN; three grandchildren, Joshua Thomas, Steven Cooper, Selby J. Bord; three sisters, Delores Hayden, Dorothy McBride, Darene Jones: special longtime friend Rita Prater.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Memorial services 2:00 P. M. Saturday November 11, 2017 at Shelby Funeral Home in Covi8ngton, IN. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery with military services.  Visitation from 12:00 P.
