Dorothy Alice Skinner

Dorothy Alice Skinner, 71, of Perrysville, IN. died Tuesday evening December 3, 2019 at Franciscan Health East, Lafayette, IN.  She was born June 25, 1948 East of Danville, IL., the daughter of Daniel Lawrence Mitchell and Myrtle Alice (Taylor) Mitchell.

Dorothy graduated from Westville High School in 1966 and was a homemaker, who enjoyed farm life and reading.  She was a resident of Perrysville most of her life.

Dorothy married Norman Lewis Skinner II May 5, 1972 and he survives.  Also surviving is a son Norman L. Skinner III and wife Naomi of Perrysville, IN, a daughter Nicole Bond and husband Alex of Lafayette, IN, a brother James Mitchell of Ridge Farm, IL, and seven grandchildren.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Monday December 9, 2019 at 5:00 P.M. EST at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Keith Klossner officiating.  Visitation from 3:00 P. M.
