Elizabeth Keller, 101, a life resident of Covington died at 3:30 p. m. Wednesday October 26, 2013 at Williamsport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 20, 1912 near Covington the daughter of Clyde Newton and Rose C. (Knowles) Price.
She graduated from Covington High School in 1930 and was employed at General Electric in Danville for 21 years before retiring on August 1, 1968. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Elizabeth married Cyril Homer Keller October 19, 1963 at Covington Baptist Church and he died March 11, 1980.
Surviving is a son Robert (Charlene) Carey of Cayuga; a daughter Janet Sloan of Covington; a step son Montie (Betty) Keller of Covington; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Private burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery directed by Shelby Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences to the family: [email protected] .
