Elizabeth Suiters

Elizabeth Suiters, 94, of Indianapolis, a former Covington resident died at 5:45 P. M. Monday March 20, 2017 at Brooke Noll Village in Avon, IN. She was born September 12, 1922 on a farm north of Covington the daughter of Roy S. and Mary E. (Bowers) Hunt.

Elizabeth was a 1940 graduate of Covington High School and a member of Covington First Church of Christ. She was a resident of Covington until 2003 when they moved to Indianapolis to be close to their family.

Elizabeth married Merle C. Suiters October 18, 1941 at Veedersburg and he died September 2, 2010. Surviving are three children, Michael (Loretta) Suiters of Covington, Carol (Stephen) Tipton and Nancy Suiters, both of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Kent (Karen) Suiters, Kathy (Keith) Langford, Patrick (Samantha) Tipton, Rachel (Clint) Zigler; and ten great grandchildren.  Her parents, step mother, three brothers, Ralph, Virgil and Robert Hunt; two sisters, Sylvia Grubbs and Jean Kelley preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Thursday March 23, 2017 at 11:00 A. M. EDT at Shelby Funeral Home with Randy Walters officiating. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 P. M.
