Elsie Mae Ritter

Danville Elsie M. Ritter, 90 went to meet her Lord on Sunday April 17, 2011 at Hawthorn Inn, due to a recent fall at home. She was born on March 11, 1921 in Danville, IL. the daughter of William and Ida Cox who preceded her in death.
She has one sister, Ruby (Daniel) Bernardi of Danville. Elsie was married to Ernest H. Ritter of Danville in 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1964. From this marriage were 3 children: John Ritter, daughter Patsy and son James Ritter. She also has grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her son John.
Elsie was a filler on the line at ATI for a number of years until she retired. Her hobbies were raising Chihuahuas and working in the yard.
A special thanks to the Hawthorn Inn for the excellent care they gave to my mother during her stay there.
Visitation will be Noon to time of the services at 2:00 P.M. Thursday April 21, 2011 at Pape Mortuary, 10 E. Williams Street, Danville.
