Fletcher William Clawson, 88 a life resident of Covington died at 7:40 a. m. Friday July 4, 2014 at the Waters of Scottsburg, IN.
He was born May 22, 1926 at Covington, IN the son of George and Lela (Cruea) Clawson.
He was a Navy veteran and construction laborer for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushrooming.
Fletcher married Jacqueline Townsend December 3, 1962 at Covington and she died March 15, 2003. Surviving are three children, Michael (Teresa) Clawson of Covington; Kelly Clawson of Attica; and Steve Clawson of Covington; a sister, Lora Mae Orr of Lafayette, IN.
