Dr. Frances Katherine Warner, 87, of Bloomington, IN, died at 1:15 A. M. Tuesday July 7, 2015 at Garden Villa in Bloomington. She was born February 4, 1928 the daughter of Ferrell George and Hazel (Martin) Williams.
Frances was a 1946 graduate of Covington High School and Indiana University Medical School in 1953. She was a physician in North Vernon, IN from 1966 to 1992. Her memberships include: American Medical Association, Indiana Medical Association, Brown County Garden Club, and Phi Mu Sorority at I. U., where she was treasurer for several years. She moved to Bloomington from Nashville in 2013 and formerly resided at North Vernon and Covington.
Frances married George A. Warner December 24, 1950 at Covington and he died June 7, 2010. Surviving are three sons, Mark (Lynne) Warner of Bloomington, IN, John (Sheela) Warner of Billings MT, and George Thomas Warner of Westfield, IN. Also surviving is a niece Carol Taylor of Bloomfield, CO and a nephew Dale Williams of Worthington, OH. Her parents and a brother Robert Williams preceded her in death.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 P. M. Friday July 10, 2015 at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, IN followed by graveside services at 2:00 P. M. in Mount Hope Cemetery. Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com.
