Geneva Pearl NeNe Beals, 106 of Veedersburg passed away Friday morning February 1, 2013 at the home of her niece Kandy Peach. Geneva was born December 14, 1906 at Kingman the daughter of William and Minnie (Allen) Perry.
Geneva married Harvey Beals April 30, 1930 in Chicago. He preceded her in death December 16, 1971. Geneva was an avid bingo player and loved going to the horse races.
Geneva leaves behind her niece Kandy Peach, who was a like a daughter, two special nieces she called her girls, Amber and Abby Peach; two sisters, Ramona Stonebraker and Connie Warnick of Kingman, one brother Edwin Leon Perry of Kingman and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Gerald, Gene, Ted, Ralph and Farrell Perry; a sister Maxine Wilson and a nephew Ted Stonebraker, who was like a son.
Visitation will be 12:00 p. m. until the time of services at 2:00 p. m. Monday February 1, 2013 at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington. Rev. Kenneth Majors will officiate. Burial will follow in Coopers Chapel Cemetery. Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com.
