Helen Louise Ridlen

November 28, 1933 — September 19, 2021

Helen “Louise” Ridlen, 87, of Morristown, TN went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 19, 2021.  She was born November 28, 1933 south of Covington, IN the daughter of the late Charles Albert Shaw, Sr. and Mabel Howard Shaw.

She was a long-time and devoted member of First Christian Church in Morristown.  She loved the Lord and her husband.  She also had a passion for Ministry and helping preachers and Missionaries become trained for continuing God’s Ministry for years to come.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Charles W. Ridlen, and her brother, Wayne Shaw.

Survivors include her brother, Charles (Sandy) Shaw, Jr, Covington, IN; foster-daughter, Diana Franks; sister-in-law, Janet Shaw, Lincoln, IL; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and beloved church family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First Christian Church, 155 Parker Road, Morristown, TN 37814, or the Friends of Hospice of the Lakeway Area Serenity House, 421 N. High Street, Morristown, TN 37814.

Receiving of friends will be held 6-7 PM, Thursday, September 23, 2021, at First Christian Church in Morristown, Tennessee.  Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 7 PM with pastors J.R. Hengehold, Mark Fish, and John Collins officiating.  Interment will be at 10:00  A. M, Monday, September 27, 2021, in Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington, Indiana.
