Janet Lee Clark

Janet Lee Clark, 75, of Covington was found deceased at her home Saturday November 16, 2019. She was born October 2, 1944 in Covington the daughter of Ralph Edwin and Marie (Sutton) Clark.

Janet was a life resident of Covington and a 1964 graduate of Covington High School, where she was a member of the band and a cheerleader for four years. She graduated from Indiana State University in 1968 then taught typing and shorthand for five years at Fountain Central High School.  She was employed 30 years at Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Danville before retiring.

Surviving are two brothers, Bill Clark of Heflin, AL; James (Sharlene) Clark of Danville, IL; and a sister, Susan Grady of Covington, several nieces and nephews. Her parents, two brothers, and a sister preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be Thursday November 21, 2019 at 2:00 P. M. EDT at Shelby Funeral Home.
