Jeffrey Lynn Crowder, 61, of Covington died at 11:56 A. M. Sunday December 13, 2020 at home, having been seriously ill six weeks.  He was born June 6, 1959 at Crawfordsville, IN the son of Donald Ray Crowder and Betty Joanne (nee McGinnis) Crowder

Jeff moved to Covington from Kingman in 1976 and graduated from Covington High School in 1977.  He played the drums for Black Rose Reception for fifteen years and was a member of the SOS Motorcycle Club.

Surviving are three children, Cassy Richardson and husband Craig of Spring, TX; Lindsey Crowder of Greenwood, IN; Chandler Petrus of Chicago, IL; his father Donald Crowder of Kingman; a sister Jill Gee and husband Joe of Covington; girlfriend, Missy Gebhart of Covington; two grandchildren, Cate Richardson and Colt Richardson.  His mother preceded him in death.

Visitation 11:00 A. M. to 3:00 P. M. EDT Friday December 18, 2020 at Shelby Funeral Home.  Due to COVID-19 and state requirements everyone shall wear a mask and social distancing will be observed.  The number of people entering will be limited.

Private family services at 3:00 P. M. Friday at Shelby Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Crum officiating.  Burial will follow in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.  Memorials requested to American Cancer Society with envelopes available at Shelby Funeral Home.  Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com .
