Joanne N Nolan

Joanne N Nolan, 85, of Covington died at 8:45 A. M. Thursday May 21, 2020 at her home. She was born August 18, 1934 in Cates, IN the daughter of Elbert & Novella (Campbell) Clodfelder.

Joanne was a 1952 graduate of Kingman High School and a resident of Covington since 1994, she formerly lived at Danville, IL. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star. Joanne had been employed at GE and later at Danville Metal Stamping before retiring.

Joanne married James L Haga and they divorced. She later married Gerald A Nolan July 11, 1981 at Danville, IL and he died April 5, 2020.

Surviving are four children, Wendall Haga of Covington; Kathy (David) Thomas of Veedersburg; Janet Buck of Covington; Donald (Connie) Haga of Orrville, OH; daughter-in-law, Vicki Haga of Veedersburg; a stepson Paul D Nolan of Champaign, IL; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren. Her parents, a son, brother and two sisters preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 P. M. Tuesday May 26, 2020 at Shelby Funeral Home in Covington, IN. “Due to social distancing requirements in place with the COVID-19 pandemic, face masks will be required for admittance, along with observing the 6 foot distancing requirements of the Covid-19 task force recommendations.” Graveside services will follow at 2:30 P.
