Joy Elaine Woodrow

Joy Elaine Woodrow, 55, peacefully passed away Saturday October 15, 2016 at I U Health North in Carmel, IN and is now swinging high in her heavenly swing. Joy was a special girl and will be missed by her family and friends. She was born in Danville, IL July 17, 1961 to Russell Lee and Lulu Belle (Trott) Woodrow. Survivors include her mother Lulu Belle Woodrow of Covington; two brothers, Alan (Margaret) Woodrow of Covington and Dale Woodrow of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; nieces, nephews, cousins, and her family of caregivers from her group home in Carmel, IN. Her father preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Wednesday October 19, 2016 at 2:00 P. M. EDT at Shelby Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Dewlen and Rev. Stanley Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
