Katherine Irene Blondie Watt, 91, of Perrysville died at 3:15 A. M. Sunday July 6, 2014, at Woodland Manor in Attica.
She was born December 3, 1922 at Attica the daughter of Jesse and Clara (Sowers) Bunch.
Katherine married Robert L. Watt September 7, 1940, at Covington. He died February 5, 1986. Surviving are 2 sons, Robert W. Butch(Joyce) Watt of Covington, and Richard Wayne Watt of Attica; a sister Velma Sample of Kingman; 3 grandchildren, Troy (Steph) Watt, Tamiko (Drew) McGurk, John (Carrie) Clark; 5 great grandchildren; 3 nieces, Pat (Steve) Tressler, Mildred (Richard) Orlea, Mary Etta (Steve) Currie, 2 nephews, Larry (Marilyn) Sample, and Leroy (Brenda) Bunch. Her parents, a sister and 2 brothers preceded her in death.
A resident of Covington in early life, she moved to Perrysville in 1940. Her memberships include: Perrysville United Methodist Church, Walter Hoyt Post #350 American Legion Auxiliary, Perrysville Fire Dept. Auxiliary, and she was a former member of Royal Neighbors.
Visitation will be 10:00 A. M. to 11:30 A. M. EDT Wednesday July 9, 2014, at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, followed by burial in Hicks Cemetery, Perrysville. Memorials may be given to Perrysville Fire Dept. or American Legion with envelopes available at the funeral home. Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com
