Keith Leroy Sams

Keith Leroy Sams, 58, of Perrysville died at 6:45 P. M. Saturday July 25, 2015 at home. He was born November 14, 1956 at Danville, IL the son of Herschel and Jenny (Smith) Sams.

Keith was a life resident of Covington and Perrysville, graduated from Covington High School in 1976. A millwright employed for many years by Shaumburg & Shaumburg and a member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America Local #1051. He enjoyed hunting arrowheads, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are a daughter Jennifer Sams and a son Tyler Sams, both of Perrysville; two brothers, Robert (Peggy) Sams of Covington, Donald (Linda) Sams of Georgetown, IL; a sister Shelly (Scott) Badger of Cayuga, and four grandchildren, Destiny Williams, Chase, Dakota and Aaliyah Lang. His parents, two brothers Herschel, Ronald and a grandson preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be Wednesday July 29, 2015 at 1:00 P. M. EDT in Lower Mound Cemetery with Kevin Wildman officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 A. M. to 12:30 P. M. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Home. Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com.
