Kristin Dawn Lynch, 36, of Covington died at 1:07 P. M. Wednesday August 24, 2016 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago following an extended bout with melanoma. She was born March 26, 1980 at Danville, IL the daughter of Larry Dean and Sandy Lynn (Newell) Davis.
She was 1998 graduate of Fountain Central High School, and a resident of Veedersburg before moving to Covington in 2003. Kristin was a member of Hillsboro Nazarene Church, where she taught the pre-K and kindergarten class. She was a member of the Covington Nursery School Board for several years, and had been a teachers aid the past two years.
Kristin married Matthew Alan Lynch October 4, 2003 at the Hillsboro Nazarene Church and he survives. Also surviving is a daughter Isabella, a son Jacoby; her parents Larry & Sandy Davis of Veedersburg; a sister Tracie (Mike) McCollum of Hillsboro; grandmother Martha (Gene) Newell of Perrysville; Matts parents Alan and Sharon Lynch of Covington; his sister Bethany (Ben) Frost of Danville, IL; his grandparents, John Bill and Janice Lynch of Zephyrhills, FL; and Linda Goley of Covington; four nephews, Gabriel, Gavin, Owen and Maddox. Her grandparents, Forest Newell, Herman and Myrtle Davis preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. EDT Monday August 29, 2016 at the Hillsboro Nazarene Church with Pastor Greg McDonald officiating. Burial in Coal Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 to 6:00 P. M. EDT Sunday at the church. Memorials requested to Covington Nursery School or Hillsboro Nazarene Church.
