Lillian Marie Howard, 95 of Covington died at 3:15 A. M. Tuesday April 5, 2016 at the Waters of Covington where she had resided the past eight years. She was born March 7, 1921 near Jasper, IN the daughter of James E. and Clara Katherine (Harker) Howard.
She was a homemaker and moved to Covington in 1963 from West Lebanon. She was a member of First Church of Christ and the Friendship Circle Center. Lillian married Eldon Boger and he preceded her in death.
Lillian married Gordon J. Howard October 10, 1963 at Coopers Chapel and he preceded her in death December 1, 2000. Surviving are two sons, Larry (Cindy) Boger of Hobart, IN and James (Susan) Boger of Covington; a brother Charles (Becky) Howard of Washington, IN, four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Her parents, brother, sister, son, grandson and two granddaughters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Thursday April 7, 2016 at 12:00 P. M. in Shelby Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Kent officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 A.
