Linda Kay Goley

Linda Kay Goley, 81, of Covington, IN. passed away Sunday July 15, 2018 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. She was born January 4, 1937 at Peru, IN. to Alvia Mahlon and Juanita Maxine (Wagner) Smith. Linda was a 1955 Graduate of Peru High School and was employed as a Cashier for Kroger many years. She married Charles Eugene Goley on April 11, 1956 and he preceded her in death on February 10, 1999. Linda was a member of the Stringtown Church of God. She loved to play the Accordion and the games of Bingo and Skippo. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by her 5 children: Susan (Larry) Lowe of Kokomo, IN., Steve (Marisa) Goley of Covington, Sharon (Alan) Lynch of Covington, Cara (Greg) Cox of Danville and Chrysta (Kelly) Arnold of Williamsport, IN. Two sisters –in-law Sula Smith and Faye Walker along with brother-in-law Donald (Margaret) Goley. Also, 21 Grandchildren and numerous Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded by her Parents, a Sister Susie Jaeger and a Brother Alvia ”Bub” Smith.

Visitation will be Wednesday July 18, 2018 from Noon – 2:00 P.M. at the Stringtown Church of God with Pastor Keith Klossner officiating the Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Coal Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Shelby Funeral Home of Covington.
