Lionel Clawson

Lionel Stephen Clawson, 69, died at 7:40 A. M. Tuesday April 11, 2017 at Williamsport Nursing & Rehabilitation in Williamsport. He was born June 27, 1947 at Crawfordsville, IN the son of Leonard and Wanda (Mills) Clawson, Jr.

He was a resident of Cates most of his life and a 1965 graduate of Covington High School. He attended Coopers Chapel.  He enjoyed his family and fishing.

Lionel married Judy Miller October 2, 1971 and she survives in Williamsport. Also surviving is his mother Wanda Clawson of Rockville, a daughter Roana (Eric) McMasters of Veedersburg, a son Neal Clawson of Cates, four siblings, Kathy Haworth of Rockville, Larry (Maria) Clawson of CA, Tina Brown of TX, Angie (Mike)  Woody of Rockville, three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew, and Ezra McMasters.

Funeral services will be Friday April 14, 2017 at 2:00 P. M. at Shelby Funeral Home with Dusty Woodrow officiating. Cremation will follow.  Visitation will be 12:00 P. M. until time of services at 2:00 P. M. Friday.  Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com .
