Lois Jane Dunagan

Lois Jane Dunagan, 77, of Rantoul, IL, a native of Covington, IN died at 1:12 P. M. Tuesday March 13, 2018 at Helia Healthcare, Champaign. She was born in Covington July 1, 1940 the daughter of Ambrose and Ollie (Roth) Hegg.

Lois was a 1958 graduate of Covington High School and a Covington resident until moving to Rantoul in 1989. She was manager of Douglass & Nelson Abstractors for twenty years before moving.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Lois married Robert Warren Dunagan June 11, 1960 at Covington and he survives. Also surviving are a son Thomas Wayne (Debbie) Dunagan of Champaign and a daughter Linda Diane (David) Newell of Rockford, IL, two grandchildren Blake Anderson and Ashley Anderson, several nieces and nephews.  Her parents, three brothers, Charles, William and Donald Hegg preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. EDT Saturday March 17, 2018 at Shelby Funeral Home, 622 Third Street, Covington with Pastor Michael Hohenstein officiating.
