Lora Margaret Walters

Lora Margaret Walters, 87 of Covington died at 2:15 p. m. Friday October 19, 2012 at Seton Specialty Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born February 17, 1925 at Perrysville the daughter of Austin and Pearl (Long) Stutler.
Lora was a 1943 graduate of Perrysville High School; she moved to Covington upon her marriage in 1947 and was a farm wife. She loved her family and grandchildren; she also enjoyed gardening and baking.
Lora married William Walters December 18, 1947 and he died June 7, 1993. Surviving are 2 sons, Phillip (Diana) Walters and Roger Walters, both of Covington, and a daughter Lisa McCloud of Williamsport; 6 grandchildren, Jeremy (Lizz) Walters of Fishers, IN, Jennifer (Michael) Shepherd of Wingate, Brad Brooks of Williamsport, Matthew Walters and, Ryan Walters, both of Mahomet, IL, and Nicholas McCloud of Williamsport; 3 great grandchildren, Mackenzie , Katelyn and Mitchell Shepherd. Her parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, an infant son, and a granddaughter preceded her in death.
Visitation will be 12:00 p. m. until the time of services at 2:00 p. m. Monday October 22, 2012 at Shelby Funeral Home with Charles Callahan officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com
