Marjorie Jane Yakulis, 77, of Danville died at 2:15 A. M. Thursday May 12, 2016 at Presence United Samaritan Medical Center. She was born November 25, 1938 north of Perrysville, IN the daughter of Charles Lewis and Bessie (Devers) Wolfe.
Marjorie attended Perrysville Schools, had worked as a waitress, and later was a homemaker. She resided at Waterford, PA for many years and moved to Danville in 2006.
She married Joseph Yakulis and he preceded her in death. Surviving is a daughter Debbie Wombles of Danville; a grandson Christopher Wombles of Danville; five sisters, Lucinda (Ray) Seifert of Gary, IN, Myrtle Belle (Alvin) Featherstone of Terre Haute, IN; Wanda Marie (Melvin) Winegardner of Logansport, IN; Dorothy R. Lyon of Ladoga, IN; and Charlene Coonse of Crawfordsville, IN; several nieces and nephews. Her parents, four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be 200 P. M. Monday May 16, 2016 at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor William Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in Lower Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services. Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com. Visitation
