Mary Alice Lyons

Mary Alice Lyons, 90, a former resident of Covington and Lafayette died at 3:45 P. M. Wednesday March 22, 2017 at Round Rock, TX. She was born April 14, 1926 at Pittsburg, IN the daughter of John Reuben and Emma L. (Aaron) Boller.

She was a resident of Covington in her early life and a 1944 graduate of Covington High School. She resided in Lafayette, IN and Winter Haven FL for many years and moved to Georgetown, TX in 2011.  She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Winter Haven, FL.

Mary married William Lester Lyons August 14, 1949 at Covington, IN and he died October 5, 2010. Surviving is a son Dennis (Cindy) Lyons of Georgetown, TX, a daughter Denise Lyons of Austin, TX, a brother Fred (Eileen) Boller of Covington, two grandchildren, Holly (Regan) Olson of Hutto, TX, Lindsay (David) Fitzpatrick of Round Rock, TX, one great grandson Pearce , and a great granddaughter Lillian.  Her parents a brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 P. M. EDT Sunday March 26, 2017 at Shelby Funeral Home with Terry Chase officiating. Burial following in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00 P. M. EDT until the time of the services Sunday.  Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com .
