Mary Eleanor Wolter

Mary E Wolter, 87, of Covington died at 4:25 A. M. Wednesday April 18, 2018 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. She was born December 6, 1930 at Stringtown the daughter of Alexander H. and Edith (Rowell) Johnson.

A life resident of the Covington area, she was a 1948 graduate of Perrysville High School and Indiana State University. She taught school for several years, then was a secretary for many years at Lauhoff Grain Company, where she retired.

Surviving are three step children, Larry Wolter, Leslie (Brian) Farnoff, Robert F. Wolter; six nieces, Pamela (Mike) Hale, Cynthia (Jim) Carl, Lisa Johnson, Cate Lewis, Connie Kelly, and Chris (Terry) DeSutter; two nephews, Greg Lewis and Jay Lewis. Her parents, a brother Rendall Johnson, and a sister Elizabeth Lewis preceded her in death.

Visitation 1:00 P. M. EDT Monday April 23, 2018 until time of services at 2:00 P. M. EDT at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Keith Klossner officiating.
