Rileysburg Michael Lee Morse, 36 died at 6:30 p. m. Sunday May 15, 2011 in a motorcycle accident in Longmont, CO. He was born Nov. 22, 1974 at Urbana, IL the son of Michael Anner and Charlotte May Wells. He was adopted and raised by his father and mother Maurice C. and Charlotte Morse.
He was a 1992 graduate of Bismarck Henning High School and served in the Marine Corp. Michael was a diesel mechanic with McLane Trucking for twelve years. He enjoyed the outdoors.
Surviving is his father Maurice C. Morse of Rileysburg, a sister Angela (Dewayne) Jinkins of Oakwood, IL, 2 brothers James (Amie) Morse of Fithian, IL, Maurice Morse, Jr., of Danville, maternal grandparents Raymond and Catherine Wells of St. Joseph, IL, and 5 nieces. His mother preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p. m. (Illinois time) Thursday May 26, 2011 at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington. Condolences may be sent to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com
