Monte Davis

Monte P. Davis, 64, of Kingman died Friday July 10, 2020 in Union Hospital, Terre Haute following an extended illness. He was born December 5, 1955 at Danville, IL to Harold K. and Esther Eileen (Wilbur) Davis.

Monte was a life resident of the Kingman area, a 1974 graduate of Fountain Central High School. He was a member of Kingman Lodge Masonic Lodge. He was employed on the Indiana State Highway Department for forty-two years. He enjoyed his family, fishing and travel.

Monte married Bonnie Nichols June 4, 1974 at Danville, IL and she survives. Also surviving is a daughter Eileen Davison, Veedersburg, three grandchildren, Heather (Justin) Mink, Bryce Lewis, Thomas Lewis; three great grandchildren, Chloe, Jesse, and Faith Mink; three siblings, Robert (Karen) Kirts, Danville, IL; Jeannette (Bill) Feit, Linden, IN; Willard “Wally” Davis, Kingman. His parents and a sister preceded him in death.

Funeral 11:00 A. M. EDT Thursday July 16, 2020 at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with Dale Brandenburg officiating. Burial in Coal Creek Cemetery. Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 P. M.
