She is survived by her daughter, her grandson Michael John Houser of Carmel, and her great grandchildren Cicely and Blake.   She also leaves many nieces and nephews.   She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson (Tim Houser), three nephews (Bill, Ken, and Vernal Noggle), one niece (Debbie Sprouls-Nolte) and six siblings:  Lavonne Erdmann of Ridgefarm, Forrest (Bud) Noggle of Georgetown, Lucille Noggle (child), Wayne Noggle (infant), Ruth Sprouls of Perrysville, and Paul Noggle of Georgetown.

Nellie’s life was full of traditions like family gatherings, fishing, easter egg hunts, and Christmas.  She was an outstanding cook and love to make treats for others.   Just a few days before her death she prepared strawberry preserves to give away to friends and neighbors.   She, however, was best know for her homemade noodles which earned her the nickname “Nellie Noodles.”   At one time she prepared over 2000 bags in one year to share with friends and neighbors far and wide
