Patricia Allen, 75 of Covington died Thursday November 17, 2011 at her home. She was born September 8, 1936 to James Lowell and Beryl (Dunsmore) Morton at Danville, IL.
She was a 1954 graduate of Covington High School and a life resident of Covington. Pat was a member of the First Church of Christ. She formerly was employed at Fountain Trust Company for ten years.
Pat married Clifford Kelsey Allen in 1957 at Covington. He survives. Also surviving is a son Michael S. (Amy) Allen of Crawfordsville; a sister Phyllis Hayman, a brother James Morton, both of Greencastle; a half-sister Dolly Ann Cliff of Phoenix, AZ; 2 grandsons Chance Allen and Elijah Allen, both of Crawfordsville. Her parents and a half-brother Jack Morton preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Monday November 21, 2011 at Mt. Hope Cemetery with Bill Cook officiating. There will be no visitation. Shelby Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com.
