Patricia Ann Clem

Patricia Ann Moorhous Clem, 76, of Covington died suddenly Monday August 8, 2016 at her home. She was born in Danville, IL March 17, 1940 the daughter of Oliver and Roberta (Moudy) Moorhous, Jr.

Pat was a life resident of Warren County and a 1958 graduate of Covington High School. She attended Purdue University two years. She was a well-regarded seamstress, and had been a 4-H leader. She was a member of State Line Christian Church, Womens Christian Fellowship, Warren County Homemakers, and former member of D. A. R. She published cookbooks and was a genealogist for the Clem family.

Pat married William Dean Clem August 23, 1959 at Benson Chapel United Methodist Church and he died July, 5, 2016.

Surviving are three children, Kathryn Clem of Covington, Jeffrey W. (Nora) Clem and Christina (Craig) Walters, both of Williamsport; five grandchildren, Phillip (Emily) Clem, Joel (Kate) Clem, Duncan Clem, Jennifer Walters, Galen Walters (fiance Grace Chinn); two great grandchildren, Rory and Ava Clem; two sisters-in-law, Carol Clem, and Jane Phillips; a brother-in-law Merle Tabor. Her parents, a sister Joyce Tabor, and a brother Thomas Moorhous preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Thursday August 11, 2016 at 11:00 A. M. EDT at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington. Pastors Bob Cornell and Gerald Burt will officiate. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 P. M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials requested to Warren County Community Foundation with envelopes available at Shelby Funeral Home. Visitation
