Patsy Ann Latoz

July 28, 1954 — February 8, 2022

Patsy Ann Latoz, 67, of Covington, Indiana went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday February 8, 2022 after battling a long- term illness.  She was surrounded by her husband, children and family.

Patsy was born on July 28, 1954 to Secrate and Hazel (Grove) Belcher in Evansville, Indiana.  After graduating from Danville High School in 1972, Patsy went on to study nursing at Lakeview College of Nursing in Danville, IL.  She worked as a registered nurse for thirty-six years and retired in 2021 from the Illiana VA Health Care System.  Patsy was a member of the Army Reserves from 1991 to 1995.

On June 12, 1993 Patsy married Michael Latoz.  They spent the past twenty-eight years motorcycling, camping, and traveling around the world.  Patsy enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.  She loved living in Covington and was active in the community.  Sharing Jesus with others was important to Patsy, and she served in the ministry of Children’s Church.

Patsy is survived by her husband Michael Latoz, children, Christine (Joshua) Holt, Andrew Hammer, Ted (Traci) Latoz, and Neil Latoz.  Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Lexi, Zack, Morgan, Josh, Zoe, Tanner, Landyn, Carson, Grace, and a great grandson Harrison.  Also surviving are three siblings, Liz (Henry) Hammer, Linda Hegg, Charlie (Cindy) Belcher.  Patsy was the youngest of the four Siblings.

Funeral services will be held at Covington First Baptist Church at 1:00 P. M. Saturday February 12, 2022 with Pastor Andy Harkleroad officiating.  Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Visitation 11:00 A. M. until the time of services at 1:00 P. M. The family requests donations be made to Children’s Ministry at Frist Baptist Church, 518 Fifth Street, Covington, IN 47932.  Shelby Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com
