Rendall Wayne Allen

Rendall Wayne Allen, 92, of Burt, MI died November 20, 2022.  He was born in Wabash Township, Covington, IN on September 11, 1930 the son of Noah and Lucy Rebecca (Pritchard) Allen.

He was a 1948 graduate of Perrysville High School.  He was an Army veteran, serving from 1951 to 1954, and a retired truck driver.

Rendall married Betty VanderAa and she died in 2012.

Surviving are three children, Joyce Welch of Jellico, TN; Rebecca (Terry) Kohlhoff of Burt, MI; and Jerry (Josephine) Allen of Saginaw, MI; a sister Beverly Tuttle of Bluffton, IN; thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several cousins.

His parents, a sister Leah Rae Bowen, a daughter Debra Blasch, a son Robert Allen, and a granddaughter preceded him in death.

Graveside services 11:00 A. M. EDT Saturday April 22, 2023 in Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington with Kenneth Green officiating.  Military services by the Army and Veedersburg American Legion.  Shelby Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com .
