Robert Edward Cope

Robert Edward Cope, 66, of State Line, IN died Wednesday December 7, 2022 at his home.  He was born January 11, 1956 at Danville, IL the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Gee) Cope.

Robert was a life resident of State Line and a member of the State Line Volunteer Fire Department.  He attended Seeger High School and received his GED from DAAC.  He was employed at Freight Car Manufacturing for several years before retiring in 2006.  Robert enjoyed his family, trains, Christmas Decorations, and helping other people.

Surviving is a daughter Tia (John) Walter of Danville, IL; a son Robert Charles (Jamie) Cope of Danville, IL; two sisters, Marjorie (Russell) Rudolph of State Line, IN; Sharon Rudolph of Danville, IL; two brothers, Dennis (Laurie) Cope, and John (Linda) Cope, both of State Line, IN; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon to time of Funeral service at 2:00 P. M. EST Wednesday December 14, 2022 at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Randy Holden officiating.
