Robert Dale Logue

February 11, 1928 — July 16, 2021

Robert Dale Logue, 93, of O’Fallon, MO died Friday July 16, 2021 at his home following a short illness.  He was born February 11, 1928 at Indianapolis, IN the son of Lloyd C. Logue and Nellie O. (Watts) Logue.

Robert graduated from Speedway High School in 1947, Butler University 1951 with a BA in religion, Purdue University 1959 with a BS in electrical engineering, and Washington University 1973 with a MS in electrical engineering, computer and information science.  He was an Air Force veteran, serving from 1951 to 1955.  He was employed by McDonnell Douglas Corporation at St. Louis from 1962 to 1996.  He was a member of Christview Christian Church in St. Charles, MO.

Robert married Virginia Meade June 29, 1958 at Lafayette, IN.  They enjoyed sixty-one years together before her death April 12, 2020.

Surviving is a brother Lester Smith of Indianapolis, IN and a sister Glennajean Rasmussen of Martinsville, IN.  His wife, parents and a sister Patricia Arnold preceded him in death.

A celebration of life service will be at 1:00 P. M. Saturday July 24, 2021 at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, IN with Pastor Greg Goodrick officiating.  Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
