Robert Allen Manion

Robert Allen Manion, 64, of Covington, IN died at 7:40 A. M. Saturday December 14, 2019 at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health at Crawfordsville, IN. He was born November 27, 1955 at Danville, IL the son of the late William and Helen (Sprouls) Manion.

Rob was employed at Flex N Gate for several years. He was a resident of Covington 30 years, moving from Westville, IL.  He was a member of Covington United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed his family, auto racing, especially the Indianapolis 500 and Illinois basketball.

Robert married Kathy Ann Hawn March 27, 1987 and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Katelyn Manion (friend Kennedy Villa) of Lima, Peru; Allison (Justin) Thomas of Bloomington, IN, and a son, Shane Manion of Covington; two brothers, Michael (Sharon) Manion of Catlin, IL; Mitchell (Marla) Manion of Collinsville, IL; a sister, Judy Knapp (friend Frank Hamilton) of Danville, IL; mother-in-law Kathleen Hawn of Dana, IN; special friend, Mike Hayes of Danville, IL; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services 1:00 P. M. Tuesday December 17, 2019 at Shelby Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Fairchild officiating. Burial in McKindree Cemetery, Georgetown.  Visitation 11:00 A. M. until time of services at 1:00 P. M.  Condolences to the family at www.shelbyfuneralhome.com .
