Sarah Elizabeth Limauge

February 11, 1929 — February 14, 2022

Sarah Elizabeth (Brown) Limauge, 93, formerly of Covington, IN., died Monday, February 14, 2022, at her daughter’s home in King George, VA.  She had been in ill health for the last 5 years.

She was born Feb. 11, 1929 in Bismarck, IL to Homer C. and Lilly F. Phillips Brown.  She graduated from Williamsport High School, Williamsport, IN in 1947.  She was married Oct. 23, 1949, in Danville, IL to John R. Limauge, who preceded her in death October 14, 2003.

Mrs. Limauge retired from Hyster Company (NACCO) in Dec. 1996.  She was a member of the Covington Church of Christ, Covington, IN and attended the King George Church of Christ in King George, VA while living with her daughter.  She loved reading and crafts, particularly cardmaking.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Maggie) Limauge of Covington, IN and Greg (Wendy) Limauge of East Lyme, CT.; two daughters, Carol (Tom) Keehner of King George, VA and Carla Saavedra of Gilmer, TX; five grandsons; six great-granddaughters; five step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; 23 step-great-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 1:00 P. M. Wednesday March 2, 2022 at the Shelby Funeral Home, Covington, IN. with Rev. Jim Russell officiating.  Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Covington, IN.  Visitation will be 11 A. M. until 1:00 P.
