Thomas Edwin Chumley

Thomas Edwin Chumley, 76, of Covington died at 12:08 A. M. Thursday April 7, 2016 at home following an extended illness. He was born May 22, 1939 in Warren County, IN the son of Hugh and Josephine (Leaf) Chumley.
Tom graduated from Kingman High School in 1957. He had resided in Covington since 1965 and was a member of First Assembly of God. He formerly lived at Attica and Kingman. Tom was employed at Tee Pak for thirty-seven years retiring in 2001.
Tom married Linda Bozarth November 16, 1990 at Danville, IL and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Chris Chumley of Indianapolis; Brian (Polly) Chumley of Covington; a daughter Pam (Jesse) Keller of Covington; a step daughter Angela (Chris) Bailey of Danville, IL; three brothers, Frank Chumley of Winter Haven FL; Leland (Judy) Chumley of New Ross, IN; and Phillip Chumley of Arcola, IL. Also surviving are six grandsons, Brooks Toad Chumley, Graham Chumley, Carson Keller, Jackson Keller, Ian Bailey, and Colin Bailey. His parents and a brother William preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 5:00 P. M. EDT Saturday April 9, 2016 at the Covington First Assembly of God, Fifth and Market Streets with Pastor Robert Fairchild officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 P. M. until the time of services at 5:00 P. M. Saturday.
