Thomas Paul Edwards

Thomas Paul Edwards, 78, a lifelong resident of Covington, died April 22, 2024.  He was born October 20, 1945, the son of the late Estal William and Mary Beth (Keller) Edwards in Covington.  Tom was a 1963 graduate from Covington High School and then served in the US Army.  Tom went on to study at Butler University receiving a master’s degree in liberal arts.  Tom served the town of Covington as a supervisor of the water treatment plant and shared that knowledge with other municipalities as well as being a professor at ISU. 

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, half-brother, Robert and half-sister, Beverly.  He is survived by his brother, Estal Lee (Nina) Edwards of Island Lake, IL as well as a host of nephews, nieces and extended family.

 Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. (EST) Friday, April 26, 2024 at the funeral home with a graveside service to follow at 1pm (EST) at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington, IN.  Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
