Timothy "Tim" Starkey

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our own beloved husband, father, and brother, Timothy "Tim" Starkey.Tim was born on February 15, 1956 to Eston and Patricia (Gunion) Starkey. He graduated from Covington High School in 1974 before going on to complete degrees at Vincennes and Eastern Illinois Universities. Tim became a brilliant tool & die engineer, owning and operating both Hoosier Tool and Star Tool & Design.

He was a devout Christian who was willing to share his love of God with anyone.

Tim married the love of his life, Marilyn L. Carey, on July 11, 1981. She survives, as does their cherished son, Jared.

Also surviving are his sister, Sandee Frey, his twin brother Terry Starkey, and his brother Rick Starkey.He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Bruce, and his brother-in-law, Tom Frey.Tim will be forever loved and missed by all who loved and knew him.

There will be a private family graveside and burial to honor Tim's life.
