William "Bill" E. Rice

William E. Bill Rice, 63 of Covington died at 5:10 A. M. Monday July 4, 2016 at his home after a courageous battle against a very aggressive Cancer. He was born January 22, 1953 at Crawfordsville to Grover and Pearl (Burchett) Rice.

Bill was a 1971 Graduate of Covington High School and attended The University of Evansville. He then went to Gettysburg, PA. for Helicopter Flight Training and Aerial Application for Agriculture. He successfully owned and operated his own application business, Bi-State Helicopters, Inc. for 35 years. Bill was a member of the Indiana Agricultural Aviation Association and a past member of Fountain Lodge # 60. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going to tractor shows and Mecum Auctions, along with spending quality time at the VFW in Covington and Okeechobee, FL. and spending time at the Airport.

Bill is survived by his girlfriend, Gail Costello, two sons; Tyler R. (wife-Karen) Rice and K.W. (wife-Courtney) Rice. Two brothers; Wayne (wife-DeLayne) Rice and Paul Rice. Two grandchildren; Dylan Songer and Calleigh Rice. He was preceded in death by his Parents.
A Celebration of Bills Life will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday July 10, 2016 at the Attica Airport located at 2550 Summit Street (Bethel Road) Attica, IN. 47918. With his final flight at approximately 6:15 P.M.
